Sonia started out as a general reporter for the Nelson Mail. There she covered the usual beat of court hearings, council meetings, police briefings and school sports days.
After a stint exploring the nooks and crannies of South-East Asia she moved to the UK taking up a permanent role with top financial services trade title Money Marketing.
Following another career break to travel she went freelance working for a wide array of consumer and trade titles in the UK. Now back in Aotearoa she is continuing to write for the UK as well as New Zealand.
Sonia specialises in personal finance/financial services as well as taking on more general commissions and copywriting work.
